Who we are
MVCS ApS (CVR: DK-45438392) is a company registered in Denmark. We operate the website mvcs.dk and publish software under the MVCS brand. For the purposes of EU data protection law, MVCS ApS is the data controller for any personal data processed in connection with our website, our correspondence with you, and the products we publish.
Scope
This policy explains how MVCS ApS handles personal data across the website, business communications, and the applications we publish. Where an individual product has specific processing characteristics, those are described in a dedicated section further down.
Data we collect
We only process the data you provide to us directly, for example when you send an email, respond to an enquiry, or enter into a business relationship with us. This may include your name, email address, company affiliation, and the content of your communication. We do not purchase contact lists and we do not profile visitors.
How we use your data
We use contact details and correspondence solely to reply to you, to maintain our business relationship, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) when you contact us voluntarily, on the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) where we are engaged to provide services, on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in managing business communications, and on legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) for retention under Danish accounting rules.
Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Email correspondence and business records are typically retained for up to 5 years in accordance with Danish accounting legislation.
Cookies and analytics
The mvcs.dk website does not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels. No cookies are placed on your device to identify you or track your behaviour across sessions or sites. As a result, no cookie consent is required.
Third parties and transfers
We do not share personal data with third parties except where strictly necessary to operate our business (for example, our accountant or a hosting provider acting as a processor under a data processing agreement) or where required by law. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA as part of routine operations.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Applications we publish
Unless stated otherwise on a product's own privacy page, the following applies to every application MVCS ApS develops and publishes, across all supported platforms (Apple iOS, Apple macOS, and Google Android), and irrespective of whether the application is distributed via the Apple App Store, Mac App Store, Google Play Store, or otherwise:
MVCS ApS does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data through the applications we develop. All processing relevant to an app's functionality happens on your device. Our apps have no network permissions, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no accounts.
Where an app writes sensitive content to the system clipboard, that content is marked sensitive and is set to auto-expire after 60 seconds. On Apple platforms this is implemented via the iOS and macOS system clipboard APIs (UIPasteboard / NSPasteboard) using the system expiration option; on Android this is implemented via the ClipboardManager with the EXTRA_IS_SENSITIVE flag, and the entry is cleared by the app within 60 seconds.
Our apps include no third-party SDKs and do not integrate with Apple, Google, or any other advertising, attribution, or analytics services. We do not access Apple ID, Google account, contacts, calendars, photos, location, or device identifiers unless an individual product's privacy page explicitly states otherwise.
Where an Apple or Google platform requires us to publish a privacy disclosure (such as the Apple "Privacy Nutrition Label" or the Google Play "Data safety" section), those disclosures are kept consistent with this policy. If you believe a store listing diverges from what is stated here, please contact us and we will correct it.
